FRAMYCETIN contains Framycetin, which is an antibiotic (aminoglycoside class). It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus FRAMYCETIN treats bacterial skin infections such as burns, scalds (injure with very hot liquid or steam), wounds, ulcers, boils, furunculosis (boils), impetigo (bacterial infection of the skin), sycosis barbae (an inflammatory disorder of follicular and perifollicular skin), paronychia (inflammation of the skin around the nail), otitis externa (An infection of the outer ear canal) and secondary infections in scabies and lice.

FRAMYCETIN belongs to the group of aminoglycoside antibiotics used to treat various skin conditions or infections caused by bacteria, including burns, scalds (injure with very hot liquid or steam), wounds, ulcers, boils, furunculosis (boils), impetigo (bacterial infection of the skin), sycosis barbae (an inflammatory disorder of follicular and perifollicular skin), paronychia (inflammation of the skin around the nail), otitis externa (An infection of the outer ear canal) and secondary infections in scabies and lice. A bacterial infection is a condition in which bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can target any body part and multiply very quickly.

FRAMYCETIN is for external use only. Some people may experience side effects like itching, redness, burning sensation and allergic reactions. Directions for Use
FRAMYCETIN is for external use only. Take a small amount of FRAMYCETIN on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as directed by your doctor.
