Besides this, HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE is also used to treat stomach pain, intestinal cramps, bladder cramps, and period pain.

HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE belongs to a group of medicines called anti-spasmodic agents used to relieve abdominal and irritable bowel syndrome pain, cramps, and discomfort. It may also be used for diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures where spasms might be a problem, such as gastroduodenal endoscopy, and to produce smooth muscle relaxation prior to radiological procedures like pyelography.
HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE contains ‘Hyoscine butylbromide’ that stops muscle contractions by relaxing the muscles in the stomach, intestine, and bladder. Thereby providing relief from cramps, discomfort, and pain.
Take HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE as prescribed. In some cases, HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE may cause side-effects such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, abnormal/reduced sweating, and fast heart rate. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
Do not take HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE is not recommended for children below 6years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Directions for Use
